Jennifer is an actress, singer, director, and playwright whose life has been intertwined with the magic of theater since birth. Her parents met performing in Guys & Dolls and continued their theater pursuits throughout her childhood, filling her early years with music and creativity. As a baby, Jennifer was lulled to sleep in her bassinet backstage by the sounds of rehearsals—a true theater kid from the very beginning.
Jennifer began acting professionally at just eight years old and found immense joy in her experiences with community theater. By her senior year of high school, her talents as a writer and storyteller shone through when her original play, The High School Chronicles, was published and produced by a local children’s theater.
In college, Jennifer’s dreams soared even higher when she landed a role in Disney’s Festival of The Lion King at Walt Disney World at just 20 years old. After returning from her adventure in Orlando, she found her rhythm as a choreographer, working with community theaters, high schools, and colleges to bring productions to life. Her passion for directing was ignited during her time as head of the theater department for the Cohen Family of Camps, solidifying her love for inspiring others through storytelling. Over the years, Jennifer has had the honor of performing in professional regional theaters across the country, honing her craft and connecting with audiences nationwide.
In 2013, Jennifer moved to Nashville, where she met her husband, John, who has been her steadfast supporter and cheerleader. She feels deeply grateful for the opportunities and connections she’s made in Nashville’s vibrant theater community and is endlessly inspired by the artists around her. She is excited to see what new adventures the future holds, as she continues her lifelong journey in the theater world with passion and purpose.
Hannah Wacholtz is an actress, singer, director, writer, and producer. She was born in Nashville and has lived here for a total of fifteen years but also lived on the west coast in Los Angeles for ten years. During her time in California, Hannah created an extensive resume in the vocal arts. She was a member of the prestigious vocal jazz group Two N' Four throughout high school, performed in the Disneyland Candlelight Choir, was accepted into the California All-state Honor Choir, has been featured in Downbeat Magazine, and even had the opportunity to sing live back up vocals for Mandy Gonzalez (In The Heights, Hamilton). She moved back to Nashville in 2019 without ever having the opportunity to perform in a musical despite having auditioned previously.
Not knowing if she'd really ever get the chance to be on stage, she stopped performing altogether for five years and attended Belmont University's film program. She graduated in December of 2022 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Motion Pictures. She has directed, written, and produced two short films that have won more than fifty awards in film festivals across the globe. She did not get her start in musical theater until 2023 when she took a chance and auditioned for The Prom at Circle Players. She landed the part of Emma Nolan and the rest is history. Since then, she has been dividing her time between both artistic fields with a full heart and immense gratitude towards the Nashville community.
